Mall Networks Completes Second Round of Funding - Lexington, MA

Mall Networks, a provider of online loyalty programs and e-commerce sites, announced that it has completed its second round of private equity funding. The Venture Capital Fund of New England (VCFNE) led the round with existing backers, IDG Ventures Boston and LBO Enterprises, increasing their initial investments. In conjunction with the investment, Carl Novotny, managing director at VCFNE has joined Mall Networks' board of directors. Founded in 2005, Mall Networks builds and manages "online malls" for partners such as professional sports teams, credit cards and banks, rewards programs, and membership organizations. The company's clients include the Arizona Diamondbacks, Los Angeles Dodgers, and NASCAR RacePoints.

Colubris Networks Raises $14 Million in Venture Capital - Waltham, MA

Colubris Networks, a developer of wireless switching systems, announced on Monday that it has raised $14 million in new funding. InforSense Raises $10 Million in Venture Capital - Cambridge, MA

InforSense, a U.K.-based provider of business analytics software that has its U.S. headquarters in Cambridge, has raised $10 million in a round of venture capital led by two of its existing investors, Fleming Family & Partners Private Equity and Imperial Innovations Group. InforSense said that it will use the investment to continue expanding its international presence, accelerate new product developments and additional applications for its current and new markets.

Lendia Raises Venture Capital from 1848 Capital Partners - Marlborough, MA

Lendia, a Marlborough-based provider of technology outsourcing for residential mortgage companies, announced on Wednesday that it has raised an undisclosed amount of venture capital from 1848 Capital Partners, a Miami-based private equity firm. Lendia said that the funds will allow it to accelerate its expansion strategy and hire additional staff. Lendia began as a mortgage broker in 1999. The company, which until now has focused on the East Coast, said that it plans to increase its business by "more than 100% by the end of the year."
