GenuOne to be acquired by OpSec Security - Boston, MA

GenuOne Inc. is being acquired by OpSec Security Inc., a unit of Applied Optical Technologies PLC, for $13 million. GenuOne's software is used to help companies spot counterfeits of their products by monitoring use of their trademarks and brands. The Boston firm's customers have included Intel Corp., New Balance Athletic Shoes, and Titleist.
