PodZinger Raises $5 Million from Parent Company BBN - Cambridge, MA

PodZinger, a Cambridge-based provider of audio and video search engine technology, has received a $5 million injection from its parent company, BBN Technologies, an IT development firm. PodZinger said that it will use the funding to grow its consumer web site and build its customer base for audio and video search technology. The company also plans to continue expansion of recruiting and marketing initiatives.
