Colubris Networks Raises $14 Million in Venture Capital - Waltham, MA

Colubris Networks, a developer of wireless switching systems, announced on Monday that it has raised $14 million in new funding. All current Colubris investors participated in the new round, including Prism VentureWorks, GrandBanks Capital, DCM - Doll Capital Management, Mid-Atlantic Venture Funds, The Telecommunications Development Fund and The Business Development Bank of Canada. Colubris has developed an "optimized WLAN switching system," which is infrastructure for delivering mobile voice, data and video applications.
