Datavantage to acquire CommercialWare for $13.2M - Natick, MA

CommercialWare, a Natick-based provider of retail sales support software, has been acquired by Datavantage, a Cleveland-based subsidiary of Micros Systems that offers retail sales, analytics and marketing support software. The acquisition was priced at $13.2 million in cash. The acquisition does not include ComercialWare’s subsidiary OrderMotion. Datavantage and CommercialWare serve a combined customer base of about 400 brands and retailers.
