Software Firm Premise Corp. Raises $6.3 Million in First Round - Farmington, CT

Premise Corp., a Farmington-based provider of software for managing hospital operations, has raised $6.3 million in its first round of venture capital, led by Milestone Venture Partners and Inflection Point Ventures. The investment also included participation from Aetna Ventures. Founded in 1993, Premise offers software for managing patient flow and providing business intelligence to hospital managers. The company has about 60 employees. Some of its customers include Yale New Haven Health Systems, The Cleveland Clinic, Massachusetts General Hospital, and UCLA Medical Center.
