ChosenSecurity Raises $6 Million in Venture Capital - Newton, MA

ChosenSecurity, a Newton-based provider of digital certificate management services, announced on Monday that it has raised $6 million in new financing. The investment -- an extension of its first round -- came from .406 Ventures, Castile Ventures and Prism VentureWorks. ChosenSecurity provides security between employees, clients and suppliers doing business digitally. The company’s digital certificates facilitate secure transactions through a variety of different means including authentication, secure e-mail, digital signatures and data encryption.
