uTest Raises $5 Million in Second Round - Southborough, MA

uTest, a Southborough-based provider of software testing services, has raised $5 million in its second round of venture capital, which was led by Longworth Venture Partners and Egan-Managed Capital. uTest was founded in February 2000. The company offers a range of testing services, including functional, usability, load, and performance testing throughout the software product development life cycle. uTest said it will use the new investment funds to accelerate growth and continue market penetration, particularly in the web, desktop and mobile application space.
