Symantec Corp. is acquiring computer-configuration software vendor Relicore Inc. Relicore's software is used to map out and track changes to application and server components, with customers including Cisco Systems Inc. of San Jose, Calif., and JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York City. Relicore investors include Highland Capital Partners in Lexington, Mass., and Matrix Partners in Waltham. Symantec (Nasdaq: SYMC) has its headquarters in Cupertino, Calif., and sells a range of computer management and security products.
