HubSpot Raises $5 Million in Venture Capital - Cambridge, MA

HubSpot, a Cambridge-based provider of Internet marketing software for small and medium-size businesses, on Wednesday announced that it has raised $5 million in a round of venture capital led by General Catalyst. HubSpot's product is in beta-test phase. It offers tools to update website content, add a blog, perform search engine optimization and create "landing" pages. The founders of HubSpot met at MIT in 2004 and the company was officially founded and funded in 2006.
