Ipanema Technologies Raises $7 Million in Venture Capital - Waltham, MA

Ipanema Technologies, a Waltham-based developer of application traffic management systems for wide area networks, announced on Monday that it has raised $7 million in a round of venture capital, which was led by London-based Noble Venture. Ipanema’s autonomic networking system is designed to manage large wide area networks. The technology is used by large telecom operators as well as by large multinationals across various industries, including banking and finance, public sector, energy, pharmaceuticals, automobile and IT. This new investment by Noble Venture follows three years of 60% annual growth for Ipanema, the company said.
