MetaMatrix to be Acquired by Red Hat - Waltham, MA

MetaMatrix, a privately held, Waltham-based provider of data management and integration software, has agreed to be acquired for an undisclosed price by Red Hat, a Raleigh-based provider of open-source software for large organizations. MetaMatrix offers data management and integration software. Founded in 1998, the company has been backed by investment firms such as Allen & Co., Angel Investors, EDBV Management, Gateway Associates, Integral Capital Partners, Kleiner Perkins and Schroder Finance Partners.
