Enpocket to be acquired by Nokia - Boston, MA

Boston mobile advertising technology maker Enpocket Inc. reports it has agreed to be acquired by Finnish handset maker Nokia Corp. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but the deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter.

Founded in 2001, Enpocket makes a mobile advertising management and delivery system designed to deliver mobile advertising across multiple platforms including SMS, MMS, the Internet, and video. The company employs approximately 120 people.
