Forerun Raises $1.4 Million in Venture Capital from MDTC - Waltham, MA

Forerun, a Waltham-based developer of clinical workflow technology designed exclusively for emergency medicine departments, announced on Thursday that it has received about $1.4 million in venture capital from the Massachusetts Development Technology Corporation (MDTC) and a group of existing investors. Foreun’s software supports select and consolidated patient views, physician charting, and quality and business intelligence reporting, among other functions. Founders of the company include emergency medicine practitioners and IT experts associated with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School.
